Lazarus Vendetta

I just finished reading the Lazarus Vendetta by Robert Ludlum and it was...AMAZING! All of his books are extremely well written and are so elaborate that they are super confusing at first.
This novel was about nanotechnology. And this is a summary of what its about...its just a TAD bit confusing. haha. But if you read it, it all makes sense!!!
  1. The Lazarus movement was a movement first created to peacfully protest the research and development that nanotechnology has made. However, it slowly turned into a movement that was resposible for mass destruction and murder.
  2. Subsequent to this plot, there is also a secret illegal organization within the CIA, named TOCSIN, that was created to try and pin down the Lazarus movement. TOCSIN was created by the CIA assistant director, Hal Burke and also involves the FBI assistant director Kit Pierson. They have a secret ranch in Virginia, owned by Burke to carry out all sorts of plans.
  3. Furthermore, underneath the goody-two shoes appearance conveyed by the Lazarus Movement, the man that calls himself Lazarus has his own secret army all around the world. His top three men are called the Horattii and are extremely skilled fighters or more suitably---assassins.
  4. Because the president cannot trust the FBI and CIA, he has created his own trusted branch of secret intelligence named Covert One. Fred Klein is the director of this operation and Lt. Colonel John Smith is the main operative.

But this is just the beginning of the plot. There are so many secret twists and turns to this story, it is almost hard to keep track. Nevertheless, in the end Ludlum does an amazing job tying it all up.
